Art at the ZEDEK welcomes artists to share artwork that demonstrates their connection to Jewish life, culture, identity or heritage. The goal is to invigorate our community with art, providing the congregation with the opportunity to enhance their connection to Judaism, and to showcase visual arts in the community.
Proposals are reviewed by the Arts Jury. Artists must submit a:
- 100 to 150 word description of how the work relates to Jewish life, culture, identity or heritage. (You do not need to be a member of Shaarey Zedek).
- short , three-line biography.
- digital images of work being proposed for display (300+ dpi) including title, date, media and dimensions of the work.
-You are a local artist or group of artists.
-You have significant ties to the community.
-You are a professional or a student in the fields of Fine Arts, Digital media, Architecture, Photography, Graphic Design, Landscape Architecture.
-Submissions may be painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, graphic design, architectural plans.
