This course offers a fascinating glimpse into the early history of Israel, and the complex and harrowing history through which we were guided by both Prophet and King, dozens of centuries before our own complex era up until the destruction of the First Temple in 586 BCE.

THE SEINFELD SAGA:
With Rabbi Matthew Leibl

Each week this class will explore a different episode of the classic 90s sitcom that touches on a Jewish topic. From Jewish food to gossip, from Jewish dating to dealing with anti-Semitism, from conversion to brit milah, each week students will use Seinfeld as a jumping-off-point to yada, yada, yada about familiar Jewish themes and uncover new conclusions.

A course for both Jews, exploring their faith,
and Non-Jews wanting to learn about or convert
to Judaism

A comprehensive program that is suitable for both those who are new to the Jewish faith and for Jews who wish to learn something new about Judaism. The curriculum covers the Jewish Lifecycle, the Jewish calendar with in-depth explanations of the meaning, rituals and history of the Jewish holidays and Shabbat. The course delves into important topics such as Jewish values, Kashrut, the place of sexuality and ritual purity, Zionism and the Jewish State, the Holocaust, Jewish Spirituality
and Mysticism.
